In the first stage , new recharge cisterns are built from scratch in previously identified slopes and water courses. The water is transported to the homes in pipes and hoses and stored in tanks with a purification process.

At the same time, in Lipán; the progress is being made in the construction of a cistern for exclusive use of human consumption, replacing the purification process with chlorination tablets with an automatic sodium hypochlorite dispenser. Starting with the update of the plumbing system and connecting families to the network system.

The project is being worked on together with Agua Potable of Jujuy (a provincial state company) with the Puna Operational Unit, technical teams from Abra Pampa and the Engineering and Projects areas.
